These are the terms for using this site. They are meant to be read, not endured.

Effective July 25, 2026. This site is published by General System Dynamics LLC (“GSD”, “we”, “us”).

What this site is

gsysd.com describes what General System Dynamics LLC publishes: apps for Apple platforms, open-source engineering tools, and an archive of research and writing from 2009–2015. It is an information site.

Nothing here is an offer of consulting or professional services, and nothing here is professional, legal, financial, or technical advice for your situation. Reading the site, or writing to us through it, does not create a client, advisory, or confidential relationship of any kind.

Using the site

You are welcome to read anything here, link to any page, and quote a short passage with credit and a link back. Please do not republish a whole article without asking, present our writing as your own, or send automated traffic fast enough to degrade the site for other people. There are no accounts and nothing to sign up for.

The contact form

The contact form is the only way to reach us here — we deliberately publish no email addresses. Use it for genuine enquiries, not bulk or automated messages; it is protected by an anti-spam check, and abusive traffic gets blocked.

Do not send confidential, sensitive, or privileged information through it. It arrives as ordinary email. What happens to what you send is described on the privacy page.

Our content and our name

The text, images, design, and code of this site are © 2008–2026 General System Dynamics LLC, except where something is credited to someone else. “General System Dynamics” and the loop mark are ours; please do not use them in a way that suggests we published, endorsed, or are affiliated with something we did not.

The Insights articles are an archive. They are republished substantially as originally written, with their original dates, and they describe the technology and practice of their time — several are more than a decade old. They are kept for the record, not as current guidance.

Apps and open-source projects

These terms cover this website. They do not govern the software itself:

• Apps distributed through the App Store — including Rossino — are licensed to you by Apple's standard End User Licence Agreement, and each app's own privacy policy applies (see Rossino's). The pages here are marketing, support, and privacy information for those apps, nothing more.
• Open-source projects are governed by the licence in each project's repository — Apache-2.0 for Senior Engineering Partner. That licence, including its warranty disclaimer, is what applies to the code; nothing on this page adds to or subtracts from it.

Links to other sites

We link to the App Store, GitHub, and other people's writing. Those are not ours, a link is not an endorsement, and what happens there is governed by their terms and their privacy policies.

No warranty

This site is provided as it is. We do not promise it will always be available, that every page will load, or that everything on it is current or free of error — the archive in particular is deliberately not current.

Limits of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, General System Dynamics LLC is not liable for any loss or expense arising out of your use of this site or your reliance on anything published here. This does not limit any liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes, law, and questions

These terms may change; a new version is posted here with a new effective date, and the current version is the one that applies. They are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
