Rossino support

Stuck, curious, or found a bug? This page answers the common questions and tells you exactly how to reach a human.

Reach us

Use the contact form. Your message goes to the person who wrote the app, and you can expect a reply within two business days — usually sooner.

For a bug report, three things make the difference between a guess and a fix: which device and OS version, the Rossino version (in the app's About screen), and what you expected to happen versus what happened.

Common questions

My devices don't show the same timer

Rossino syncs through your own iCloud, so every device must be signed in to the same Apple Account with iCloud enabled for Rossino (Settings → your name → iCloud on iPhone and iPad; System Settings → Apple Account → iCloud on the Mac). Sync rides Apple's quiet background notifications, which a device may delay when it is low on battery or offline — bringing Rossino to the front always fetches the latest state immediately.

I don't get a notification when a session ends

Rossino asks for notification permission on first launch. If you declined, turn it back on in Settings → Notifications → Rossino (iPhone/iPad) or System Settings → Notifications → Rossino (Mac). A Focus mode that silences notifications will also silence Rossino's session-end chime — allow Rossino in the Focus settings if you want the timer to break through.

The widget shows a placeholder

Widgets read the state the app last wrote. Open Rossino once after installing or updating and the widget picks up your real timer from then on.

Where is my data? Can you see it?

On your devices and in your own private iCloud — nowhere else. We cannot see any of it. The whole story is on the privacy policy page, and it is short.

Refunds and purchase problems

Purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple, so refund requests go through Apple's Report a Problem page, and subscriptions are managed in Settings → your name → Subscriptions (or App Store → Account Settings on the Mac). If something about a purchase seems wrong on our side, write to us and we will help you sort it out with Apple.

Feature requests

Welcome, and read by the developer. Tell us what you were trying to do, not only the feature you want — the underlying problem is often solvable in a better way.
